Wisha Washa - It's washing time!

When reading and spelling becomes a chore 😜... It's one way to get the kids to do washing! In English we learnt about syllables and how many claps are in a word. Don't be surprised when your child is clapping out ra - coon and e-le-phant while they're helping you with the laundry...

World Read Aloud Day

Today was World Read Aloud Day so we decided it would be wonderful to see our Senior Learners pair with our Juniors to practice reading out loud. It was a really great idea because everyone had fun taking turns to read even if it was just the pictures!

Water Play

Are you afraid of water? Can you blow bubbles? Teacher Jacqui treated us with outside water play after our art lesson. How did she know this is what we love? Isn't she the best?

I'll Give you a Pizza my Heart!

Has making pizza ever been so much fun? When your recipes are just 2 ingredients long instead of 20, it can turn a potentially daunting task like making dough into a fun and simple thing. The senior class thoroughly enjoyed their food skills lesson today and what a skill to have... Pizza for supper tonight anyone?

Order Up!

In a bid to gain some practical experience with money, Teacher Erin sets up a Friday Pop Up Restaurant for our senior class learners. The learners have totally bought into it and are making use of insights and exprience from their life outside school. Very impressive work Boys and Girls!

Seasons Greetings 🎄🤶🎁

Is it too soon to have the Christmas Spirit? NEVER!

The Junior Class are enjoying their term 4 theme. Can you guess what it is? It's CHRISTMAS!

Today it is 62 days till Chrostmas. We use the Santa Tracker to count down.

We know that this holiday is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, but there is so much more to learn about Christmas, like holidays in other cultures that are the equivalent to the importance of Christmas, carols and also christmas crafts.

Today we practiced gift wrapping. What do you  think of our efforts?

Taking Over the... Day (one timetable at a time)

Every morning, our junior learners take turns reading the timetable and letting everyone know what's happening in the day - and if the teachers forget... no problem! There’s always someone to step in and remind us. It's a fun little routine we all look forward to.... if the "Pick me's" and "Can I read's?" are anything to go by!

From Page to Stage...

The learners enjoyed story time read by a peer today. We got to work on our reading skills while also entertaining our friends. And who doesn't feel better after a hardy bow and a round of applause?

Don't be Nosy!

The learners showed us that a paint brush isn't the only way we can paint. They had great fun using party hats and pom poms over their noses to decorate an apple.
