During "Mentor" period today, one of our senior learners opted to play E Games while others favoured the varying physical options. Sure looks like he had fun!

I'm not sure if everyone phoned each other this morning but the rest of us certainly missed the memo because all these angels swapped their halos for a bun today... And it wasn't even the teachers that noticed it!
To our Caring and Fierce Leader, a very happy birthday. We are so happy to share your special day with you. Your strength, wisdom and unmatchable humor make you so valuable to us. Thank you to our amazing parents who helped us celebrate our Fantastic Director.
Happy Birthday Teacher Clare—may your year be filled with adventure, peace, and God’s blessings every hour.
We love you 😍
Happy Birthday to our fellow August birthday girl as well - the day was extra special getting to share it with someone. Thank you for your birthday cupcakes to celebrate you!
Our party was such fun with our kids managing to keep it secret until the very last, a surprise visit from Teacher Erin who came to join us and delicious treats to share.

On Thursday 14 August, we rallied our forces for a spectacular day/competition at Vista Nova competing against the home teams and two other schools. We were even extra spoiled by getting to enjoy the playground at the venue. Needless to say the kids had a whale of a time!

The seniors had some "Ball"-listic fun today in the great PING PONG CUP TOSS CHALLENGE. Those who weren't competing, stood by to cheer their friends hoping for their top score! Great throw!
Even when it's raining and pouring, we won't let the old man's snoring stop us from having fun. Some of the junior class enjoying catching those elusive bubbles during inside break...
This week brings us the start of music week and we were so lucky to get to watch some dances and vocal performances while we went to the junior school break. They were enjoying the acts so much they almost forgot to eat their lunch.
Our first Sports Hub Session kicked off yesterday. Such troopers to be partaking amidst the very demanding heat. We can't wait to see more fun and sports learning as the term progresses.
After weeks of waiting desperately for SARDA to return, this week's group started us off with a bang with our new learner experiencing his first horse-riding lesson and getting to see all our two-legged and four-legged friends again. We look forward to our second group enjoying their session next week and to many more wonderful and beneficial lessons this term.
It was our first swimming lesson in our newly refurbished pool. The coaches from the Vineyard swimming club were waiting to receive us and we were so excited to see them and get the lesson started.
The weather played along and every learner had all their gear and enthusiasm too.

Who needs a set lesson to enjoy music? Even at break, when the music starts, it is fun to see such joy and unity amongst the kids.
A quick walk for some fresh air ended up with an impromptu performance. A well-placed rock became our platform for imagination. Kings and queens and pirate ships are but a few doorways into the wonderful world of the imagination proving that the best adventures happen on a whim.
Some of our learners are fast finishers and when they finish their work, there are several educational and fun activities for them to engage and interact with whilst waiting for their friends. It is wonderful to see the learners show such active involvement and partaking in their own preferred pursuits.
As the play draws closer and closer, practices in the hall and on stage are underway. The learners are having a blast as we try to figure out the best places for everyone, we even have some teachers filling in some missing spots until the actors return. I don't know about you but we are really looking forward to this play!
This weekend our whole school came together to for the big walk. We started at school and walked all the way around the Common and back. It was very exciting to walk in such a big group and to see our teachers on the weekend!
After the walk we all played games, had a bite to eat and danced under the awning back at school. We were all waiting for the Lucky Draw. Each class at school contributed hampers. Shona Smith won the SNU Hamper 🌠
