SNU Connect Parent: Coffee and chat

Nothing better than an early cup of coffee and a koeksister to get the day started. It was wonderful to see our parents and have a quick catch-up.

Pasta Presentations

The pasta presentations were a huge success. We enjoyed listening to our learners about how they prepared the meal at home with the help of their parents. Their matching posters assisted them to present in the class.

Student Teachers

Farewell and thanks to Cheray and Sadaf for their time spent in the unit over the past two weeks. These wonderful CPUT student teachers contributed and interacted with our learners throughout the week.

Having a whale of a time!

This week in nature study we were learning about whales.  We made our own whale craft using a paper plate, paper and some paint.

Sound For You Friday Classes

Teacher Stacey helps us to remix music, encourage the learners to write original music and teach dj’ing and editing.  These lessons allow our learners to have fun in a safe, friendly and open environment and learn a variety of new skills.  It provides the learners with an opportunity to express themselves creatively, even if they have never played and instrument before.

Piano lessons

Like music to my ears. We hope that he enjoys all his lessons.

Teubes Donation

Today we received a generous donation of art supplies and PE equipment from Kim and Paul Teubes. Thank you for the wonderful surprise.

Grade 10 Integration

 Our Grade 10 integration sessions started off with a new grade 10 class.  
Meeting and chatting with new friends is always fun.

Early Development

This week in early development skills, Max and Nathaniel practiced their catergorising and comparing skills.  They had to match picture cards to both colour and position.

Marvelous Maths!

Our term started off well with the learners quickly settling down to their work in math class this week.
