Carols in the Castle

 

The whole school put on a Christmas show in our legendary castle. We started off the show with Jingle Bells. Well done to those who performed! As usual your presence and energy stole the show!

Junior Class Prize Giving

 What a wonderful occasion our Junior Class Prize Giving was. We had special guests Mrs. Smith and our very own Marist Brother, Brother Peter. They both added a level of love and excellence, that can only be found at a Marist School.

After a short speech of appreciation and congratulations from Teacher Erin, each leaner come forward to receive their award. The titles given were:

• Problem Solver Award: Recognizes creativity and determination in overcoming challenges.
• Listening Leader Award: Recognizes great focus and following instructions.
• Big Smile Award: For spreading happiness and positivity every day.
• Kind Heart Award: Honouring a student who consistently shows kindness and empathy.
• Wonderful Worker Award: Celebrating hard work and a positive attitude in class.
• Brave Explorer Award: For courage and curiosity in trying new activities.
• Creative Spark Award: Honouring unique creativity and imaginative thinking.
• Wonderful Progress Award: Celebrates steady improvement and growth.

Boerewors, Burgers and Besties!!!

 

Braai-Masters, Boerewors and Burgers - The Three B's and what could be better? Maybe Fun, Friendship and Food? The Braai Day was a resounding success with great food and even better company. An enormous thank you to Paul Teubes for donating the meat, rolls, drinks and condiments and for spoiling our learners.

Abra Kadabra... It's MAGIC time!!

 

Today a past learner, Carlo Penso, visited the unit from the School of Magic to put on a spectacular magic show. Needless to say our learners were enthralled and it was such a hit. A huge thank you to Carlo for his wonderful demonstration and for giving us just a touch of magic to brighten up our day.

Last Ride of the Term

Today all the SARDA riders went to visit SARDA to say our goodbyes as it was our final lesson for the year.

Our wonderful parents sent donations to school for a collection for our hard working horses. We proudly handed this bundle over to teacher Teri, who will use the money to buy special horse biscuits that the steeds will enjoy during their Christmas holidays.

Has making pizza ever been so much fun? When your recipes are just 2 ingredients long instead of 20, it can turn a potentially daunting task like making dough into a fun and simple thing. Sports day for the Juniors

 

A fantastic event filled with excitement and laughter. Our little kids had so much fun taking part in and cheering each other on with big smiles. It was wonderful to see their team spirit shine through as they enjoyed every moment of the day.

 In a bid to gain some practical experience with money, Teacher Erin sets up a Friday Pop Up Restaurant for our senior class learners. The learners have totally bought into it and are making use of insights and exprience from their life outside school. Very impressive work Boys and Girls!
