Garden Loading .... 🌿🍃🌱👣🐛🐞

 What a successful day of  preparation! Led by our school horticulturist, Mr. Llewellyn, we cleared; dug; carried; patted and swept the area which was chosen for our Garden Project. Every pair of hands were busy, every face carried a smile. With pride and purpose our learners showed us their capabilities for focus, hard work and determination. It was very encouraging to see, how practical work brings to the fore some peoples' true strengths. Please stay tuned for more Garde Project Updates.

GOAL !

We take integration opportunities very seriously! Look how seamlessly our senior class learner merges with his Grade 10 integration class.  In this case it was Physical Education, where he joined them for a morning soccer match. 

He really made an impression. 👊👊

Extra Murals have resumed 💃⚽

Term 3 extra murals have resumed. Please enjoy these snapshots of our Junior Class learners  in their element. Extra murals are a fantastic opportunity for integration, because our learners get to work on even footing with their peers in relaxed and exciting setting.

The Changing of the Guard 💂💂

Our junior class have really been growing and are starting to ask for more responsibility in the classroom. As an answer to their requests, Ms. Clark instituted  Class Captain and Monitor roles. Our learners absolutely shone in these roles during term 2. Congratulations to the 3 dedicated young men who carried out their roles with respect, kindness and consistency. 

Today those gentlemen passed on the torch to the term 3 Captains and Monitors. We wish these three learners a great term in their positions. Their predecessors have high hopes that they will carry out their roles with poise, responsibility and kindness. Congratulations !

Mentor Sessions

Our senior class learners met their mentor teachers in the high school. Each mentor class consists of learners from grade 8 to 11. During these sessions different topics will be covered every week with the main goal of getting to know one another.

 

A special start to the term

 

Hip, hip hooray, Um'r celebrated his birthday today. Thank you for all the yummy treats and for spoiling us all today.

Special birthday wishes to both William and Kukhanya who also celebrated their birthdays over the holiday.
