Sexuality classes are taking place for both the junior and senior classes. In the junior class we are currently discussing safe and unsafe touches. The senior learners are focusing on different types and steps in a relationship.

Collaborating about Collective Nouns

In English today we used loop cards to learn about collective nouns. Lots of fun was had by everyone!

SARDA week 2

Today we played some warm up games.  We were taught various skills on a metal drum such as how to mount the horse, sit in the 'basic seat' and 'bench' positions and then get off the horse. Finally we got to touch our horse Amadeus and say hello.

And the rain came down...

The rain did not stop the senior soccer boys team from playing their match.

Mandela Day - Outreach

Thank you for your generous donation of hotdog rolls for the outreach programme. Hotdogs were made and sent to the Moravian School in Phillipi. The school managed to collect enough stationery for the learners and care gifts for the staff. 

Our first session at SARDA

Our first session today came to an end after the rain started to pour down on us. The class met Amadeus their horse and were explained all the rules and procedures.

In Food Skills our learners were taught how to do a table setting. Everyone had a chance to practice this skill.
