SARDA week 2

Today we played some warm up games. We were taught various skills on a metal drum such as how to mount the horse, sit in the 'basic seat' and 'bench' positions and then get off the horse. Finally we got to touch our horse Amadeus and say hello.

St Joseph’s Marist College has a Special Needs Unit(SNU) that caters for learners that are intellectually challenged with a possibility of a comorbid disability. The learners often experience challenges in the following aspects of; reasoning, problem solving, social interaction and emotional immaturity.

We have small classes and a low teacher to student ratio, which helps to maintain a calm environment where our learners are given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and learn to the best of their ability.
