Visit to the Pick 'n Pay

Today we went to Pick 'n Pay Kenilworth Centre, to find the items on our shopping lists that we created during maths class.

There was lots of chatting, concentration and fun had by all.

Liam absolutely loved the outing to Pick n Pay, he wants to get more involved with the shopping at home know!

Awesome! Eventually he will be able to do the shopping for you while you wait in a restaurant sipping on your coffee.

About Us

St Joseph’s Marist College has a Special Needs Unit(SNU) that caters for learners that are intellectually challenged with a possibility of a comorbid disability. The learners often experience challenges in the following aspects of; reasoning, problem solving, social interaction and emotional immaturity.

We have small classes and a low teacher to student ratio, which helps to maintain a calm environment where our learners are given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and learn to the best of their ability.
