Science or Magic?

We finished off February with quite a bang on an outing to the Cape Town Science Centre. It was an incredible experience getting to explore and enjoy all the different scientific apparatuses, virtual reality, real-life experiments and fun learning that the centre had to offer. Yes it was science but I'm sure we can all agree it came with just a touch of magic too.

About Us

St Joseph’s Marist College has a Special Needs Unit(SNU) that caters for learners that are intellectually challenged with a possibility of a comorbid disability. The learners often experience challenges in the following aspects of; reasoning, problem solving, social interaction and emotional immaturity.

We have small classes and a low teacher to student ratio, which helps to maintain a calm environment where our learners are given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and learn to the best of their ability.

We are committed to recognizing the value of every individual as being unique and believe they have the capacity to learn and to develop to their full potential.
